Patricia Kinard is a native of Brussels, who lives and works between hometown and Paris. 50 solo exhibitions. Supported by la galerie Artiscope since 2001, that also exhibits her work in various contemporary art fairs (Brussels, Paris, Turin, Milan), her works have been showcased in various galleries in Brussels, Ghent and Knokke, but also in the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Brussels, Ixelles museum and Ghislain museum of Ghent. Patricia’s works have also travelled to Kyoto, New York, Madrid, Basel, Turin and Athens. In Paris, they have been exhibited in the Forney Library, the Japanese Cultural Centre, the Saint Merri church and the Saint-Germain l’Auxerrois church. Recently, some fifty paintings from 2010-2020 were brought together in the Espace Embarcadère in Montceau-les-Mines. Since 2016, her large composition, “Oro”, has been placed in the centre of the choir of the Cathedral of Saints-Michel-et-Gudul in Brussels. Another one was acquired by the Sante Alene church in Saint-Gilles.
For several years now, Patricia Kinard has been broadening her perception of the rarest and most nuanced colours, which she tracks down in different seasons, through her research in public and private gardens, country lanes and mountain paths. landscapes.
